About
Us

CECDFW is a 501c3 non-profit animal sanctuary committed to providing a forever home to various animals that may have been surrendered, abused, abandoned, neglected, or have become unmanageable; that cannot be rewilded for various reasons. All animals are treated with the love and high-quality care they deserve.

Our Story

John Mark Moyle, CEO of CECDFW

We're committed to providing a safe haven for animals that cannot be released back into the wild due to various reasons. They'll be provided with a high quality care, spacious enclosures, and a variety of enrichment to ensure the optimal well-being of the animals. While being actively involved in conservation projects, such as research, collaborating with other organizations, and implementing strategies to protect natural  habitats.

We are not just caretakers of animals—we are educators, advocates, and change-makers. Through a multifaceted approach, we combine direct conservation efforts with compelling public education and environmental advocacy. Our engaging and often humorous videos break down the complexities of global warming, using raw, relatable content to convey the severity of the crisis and inspire actionable change.

Our journey began as a small animal sanctuary, but we’ve since expanded our mission to address the interconnected crises of wildlife extinction, climate change, and habitat destruction. This evolution reflects our growing realization that protecting animals is inseparable from protecting the planet they call home.

MISSION

At Creature Education and Conservation DFW (CECDFW), our mission is to protect animals and the planet through rescue, sanctuary care, conservation, education, and bold environmental advocacy. We provide lifelong refuge for primates, guinea pigs, and other vulnerable species while working to restore ecosystems and halt extinction. Through education and strategic awareness efforts, we help inform national and global dialogue, support evidence-based environmental solutions, and contribute to a future where sustainable systems allow both humans and animals to thrive.

VISION

Creature Education and Conservation DFW envisions a world where empathy for animals ignites a global movement for environmental healing. We strive to be a model of excellence in small-scale sanctuary care, turning compassion into action by inspiring millions to champion animal welfare and defend nature’s future. Through bold education, relentless advocacy, and cross-sector collaboration, we aim to help shift federal policy and international cooperation toward systemic solutions that restore Earth’s climate and biodiversity to pre-industrial balance
