Dog Rescue, Foster, & Rehome Initiative

Creature Education and Conservation DFW (CECDFW) has partnered with the Pet Coalition of Ellis County (PCEC) to tackle the growing problem of stray dogs, dog rescue, and rehoming since the SPCA Ellis County closed in April 2025. 

 

Our partnerships with compassionate accountable community members are helping to fill this critical gap by providing safe shelter, daily care, medical support, and adoption opportunities for stray and surrendered dogs.

 

We plan to offer free training workshops to empower new dog owners and prevent future neglect and surrendering of good dogs.

 

In partnership with trusted local rescues, we build a more compassionate, connected community where pets and people thrive.
